Cultural note: PROM In Gran Bretagna i Proms (= promenade concerts) sono concerti di musica classica, i più noti dei quali sono quelli eseguiti nella Royal Albert Hall a Londra. Prendono il nome dal fatto che in origine il pubblico li ascoltava stando in piedi o passeggiando. È possibile acquistare biglietti molto economici per assistere ai concerti stando in piedi o sedendosi per terra di fronte all'orchestra. Negli Stati Uniti, invece, con prom si intende il ballo studentesco di una high school o di un college.
